Job Description
Our international client based in Derby has tasked me with finding them an Interim Payroll Manager to complete a contract for a minimum of six months.
The candidate will be responsible for the time sheets of 250+ and the payroll responsibility of 800+ members of staff. Ideally you will have good working knowledge of Excel and a high level of knowledge of current legislation.
Job duties include developing and managing current payroll systems and procedures to ensure that payroll is ran in a timely and accurate manner. Alongside this the candidate will be required to identify and fulfil the companies contractual and statutory liabilities, and provide direction to the payroll team consisting three members of staff.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate with at least 2 years supervisory experience with a large computerised payroll (1000+). The ability to multi-task and work off your own initiative is imperative as well as an experience of liaising with staff at all levels.
Membership of the Institute of Payroll and Pensions is desirable.
The organisation offer free parking and are easily accessible from Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Birmingham
