Job Description

Our client, a Global leading Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund-Of-Fund is going through a period of expansion due to an increase in client activity. The Analyst team is going from strength to strength and are looking to add another team member. Duties include:- Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence of managers.- Conduct regular on-site visits of fund managers for further due diligence and regular updates of fund investments- Perform research screening to easily identify potential fund/manager candidates.- Maintaining contact with prime brokers and other third parties and cultivate industry contacts and networks for idea flows and hedge fund material. - Monitoring existing funds in the portfolio - Help the investment committee to select both current and prospective fund managers for inclusion into the portfolio.- Focus on serving as a link between IR/Marketing and the research team.To qualify you must have a strong academic background, a few years experience in HFs/FoHFs, traditional asset management or investment banking. A candidate with either the CAIA or CFA (or working towards these qualifications) would be preferred.
