Job Description
A newly established London hedge fund is looking to appoint a long / short buy side equity analyst to work alongside a team of portfolio managers who have significant experience working the global equities market at top tier funds in London. The hedge fund has in excess of $1bn AUM and they are looking for a generalist equity analyst who is interested in a high-impact, entrepreneurial role. The successful candidate will have:
· At least one years buy side experience with prior experience in equity research or M&A
· A desire to work in a small team, demonstrating initiative and at times working independently
· Strong fundamental analysis / modeling skills
The ideal candidate will be:
A buy side equity analyst looking to move from a large fund into a high impact position with excellent career progression
The founders of the fund come with very strong reputations in the market and have subsequently raised significant capital that is locked-in for quite some time. This is potentially a very high reward position as you will be joining a hedge fund in its early stages which has big plans for future growth. The hedge fund is offering a competitive package for the right candidate.
