Job Description
A London hedge fund with in excess of $3billion AUM is looking to appoint a buy side analyst to work on distressed debt and other investment opportunities. The fund is looking for outstanding Leveraged Finance candidates, or buy side credit candidates looking to join a successful hedge fund. The team is currently made-up of some of the best names in distressed debt in London. The successful candidate will have:
2-5 years experience in finance
A firm understanding of the Capital Structure and a particularly good knowledge of credit
Strong valuation and modeling skills
An understanding of distressed debt
A background in Leveraged Finance is desirable
A European language is desirable, though not required
The ideal candidate will be:
A buy side analyst with prior experience in Leveraged Finance from a top tier institution
You will be working alongside two experienced distressed debt professionals, researching & analysing opportunities for the book. You will also be a part of the investment team with significant input into portfolio construction and asset allocation. Excellent remuneration on offer.
