Job Description
A leading multi-strategy hedge fund is looking for a front office trade support analyst to join their team in London. The trade support and product control team work closely with the trading, brokers, investor relations and software development groups, and play a key role in the transaction process. Your role will be to help traders complete and monitor their positions, as well as provide analytical and market support to ensure profitable trading activity. The Derivatives trade support analyst will also be working with technology groups in the development of new tools and applications to improve business processes and accommodate new products.
The suitable candidate must:
Have some financial experience, with preference given to a product control background.
Have a BSc with a minimum of a 2:1 in a business/economics/engineering/science subject, with excellent A-level grades (straight A’s highly advantageous).
Be comfortable with programming in Excel, VBA and Access. Knowledge of SQL, Python and Matlab are an advantage.
Have a proven track record of problem solving within a commercial environment.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player who is confident in their own abilities, comfortable working in a high pressure trading floor environment and has a genuine interest in progressing within the financial domain.
