Job Description
A leading Japan focused hedge fund is seeking an equity analyst who is looking to take the next step in their career, assume greater responsibility and begin to learn and understand portfolio construction from one of the top Japanese Fund Managers in the City. You will join a small team of investment professionals working with in excess of $1 billion of AUM and investing solely in Japanese equities. The successful candidate will have:
Experience looking at equities on the Japanese markets
A strong academic background, including a degree from a top institution
Japanese language skills are highly desirable, though not necessary
The hedge fund has a track record of outperforming similar investment platforms even given the difficult market conditions and this is an excellent opportunity for existing hedge fund analysts with the relevant experience to join a market leader in the Japanese equities sector. This position also offers excellent career progression and a competitive package.
