Job Description
A cash management specialist is required for a leading global provider of alternative investment products and solutions for private and institutional investors worldwide, designed to deliver absolute returns with low correlation to equity and bond market benchmarks. The role is based in London.
The main purpose is optimising the cash on a daily basis across all the funds that the cash management department is responsible for managing. This includes managing deposits, preferential rate accounts, money markets, drawing on loans and repaying loans from/to the firm, managing credit lines, funding client redemptions, utilizing proceeds from bond sales and general management of the accounts.
The role requires a broad range of systems knowledge and adaptability as we optimise all funds via the bespoke in-house cash management automated payments system. Banking experience is essential. It is highly beneficial is this experience is gained within a cash or treasury role. Some knowledge of cash management and funding techniques is highly desirable.
