Our client is a leading global investment management company and they are looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

Our client is looking to undertake an in-depth review to assess which of their outsourced administrator’s platforms would best meet the needs of its funds from a global perspective.

The key objectives of the role are to work with the subject matter experts within the functional areas within the company to clearly identify the administration requirements of the various fund groups, to undertake a gap analysis on the various administrator platforms and to identify which platform provides the best fit.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Requirements analysis of service and process gaps.
• Clarify the range of service offering / platform options available within the administrator.
• Undertake a review of the applicable administrator platforms, assessing best fit against the above requirements analysis and clearly identifying any gaps.
• Support the project manager and other team members.
• Liaise with business leads, other key business representatives and appropriate third parties.
• Create high quality business analysis deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into design documentation.
• Document and maintain business process models.
• Undertaking testing activities.

Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of Hedge Fund administration outsourcing arrangements (middle office, back office and transfer agency).
• Knowledge of end to end trade flow processes (e.g. equities, fixed income, derivatives).
• Track record of successful business analysis experience in the asset management sector essential.
• Strong structured business analysis and documentation skills.
• “Hands-on” approach.
• Clear, concise communicator.
• Ability to offer alternative approaches in problem solving situations.
• Self motivated, delivery focused and able to work within tight timescales.

This role will be based in London with the potential for some overseas travel.
