Job Description
An investment specialist is required for a global provider of alternative investment products and solutions for private and institutional investors. The role is based in London.
The successful applicant will be responsible for dealing with client requests, including researching various characteristics of trading systems. The investment specialist will also have responsibility for carrying out detailed performance analysis, explaining the investment strategy to investors and internal business units and facilitating all areas of client servicing for all mandates.
A good working knowledge of financial markets and instruments, both exchange traded and OTC, through previous experience within the financial services sector is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a problem-solving attitude, with a methodical and meticulously accurate approach.
Established experience within quantitative fund management/risk or trading is required along with excellent communication skills as you will be used by sales and relationship management teams to explain the funds in detail to a variety of audiences.
