Job Description
Reconciliations cash / collateral London
A burgeoning provider of hedge funds and credit funds requires an experienced reconciliations cash / collateral individual.
As a successful candidate you will initially be reporting to the head of operations and you will be responsible for:-
- daily reconciliation of cash balances, transactions and position balances between prime brokers and portfolio management system using automated reconciliation system.
- cash movements relating to fixed income, equity and OTC products.
- reconciliation of market values from portfolio management system and counterparty statements and highlight any differences.
- report unresolved discrepancies to relevant investigators for resolution.
- monitor high risk items
- become familiar with the matching rules set with in the reconciliation system and look to enhance to increase automated matching rate.
You will need to be pro-active, demonstrate problem solving skills and have good attention to detail.
A reconciliation background is essential, ideally with extensive experience from a performing role within a buy / sell side functionary group.
