Job Description
A deputy head of tax services is required by a premier global custodian. The role is based in the London Docklands.
The purpose of the role is to assist in managing the custodian's tax product, as it applies to custody operations across Europe. You will effectively analyse understand and implement the requirements of new worldwide tax regimes as they apply to clients securities holdings.
You will interact with clients as necessary, ensuring clients receive a quality service from a tax services viewpoint within agreed operational procedures and budgetary constraints. You will also ensure the various departments act in accordance with relevant tax legislation of the UK and all international markets in which clients choose to invest.
We are seeking a seasoned professional, with a successful track record and significant experience in a securities tax or income environment. You must be a strategic and creative thinker, and effective change manager.
A tax qualification is desirable, but not essential.
