Top Tier Investment Bank has an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst. 

JOB PURPOSE

Strengthen and enhance the Systems Business Support Services department. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES  

Identify areas where systems adaptations and development can improve business workflow.Keep up to date with current market technologies and implement where necessaryDiscuss the business processes and requirements for new systems/changes with users, developers and IT managers in terms of feasibility, priority, resources and time-scales.Follow up formal testing undertaken by the Development support team and pass-on functional specs to testers, answer questions, help write and review test scriptsUnderstand and document business processes.Participate with the technical roll-out of ATLAS to other sites, providing support as required. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Full understanding of Middle and Back Office business functions, including FX and money market trading, and all MARKETS systems  and data flowsKnowledge of Electronic/Internet Trading Systems Fully conversant with SYSTEMS reporting methodologies and systems, including Lotus Notes Projects database is desirableFully conversant with all MS Office products Excellent working knowledge of ATLAS, K+, IMOD, Mifo, Murex, Calypso, and the Treasury databaseExperience of Developing queries in Transact SQL e.g. Sybase, Oracle, MySQL, SQL server, Ksql and associated toolsHNC/Degree or equivalent in computer systems and IT technologyExtensive experience in banking IT systems support environment, with exposure to Bloomberg, Reuters and associated services and applications eProject management methodology, e.g.  route, project and transition plans; issues trackers 

The basic salary is in the region of £80k+ Negotiable depends on skills set and experience + Discretionary Bonus and Excellent Benefits
