Top Tier Investment Bank requires a Project Manager initially on a 6 month contract. 

JOB PURPOSE  

Implement systems to support the FX options/derivatives business on a global basis

The task requires a competent and experienced project manager to co-ordinate activities in London and Europe

The initial task of the Project Manager will be to re-evaluate the requirements, determine resources for both streams and agree milestones for deliverables  

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Project management, team leading and co-ordination of multi-streamed activities Establishment of timelines/resources/deliverables and communication planProblem management and escalation of issues/concerns to steering group Liaising with other systems units for infrastructure and application requirements.Maintain project plan, budget controls and progress reporting.Oversee change control for application deployments  

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Strong knowledge of FX Options/Derivative products is essential

Sound knowledge of the International Banking arena & associated products and systems, ideally MUREX gained in a Banking environment.

Full project lifecycle experience & adherence to Project Management methodologies

Good awareness of  systems architecture and process flows

Extensive project management and business analysis experience gained at a banking institution or software house

A history of successful delivery of implementation and upgrade projects delivered on time and within budget.

 Knowledge of change management techniques and data transition programmes Is desirable 

The daily rate is negotiable and will depend on skill set and experience, can be update £1000 per day.
