Job Description
This highly regarded, City based Stockbroker and bespoke Private Client Discretionary Fund Manager is seeking to recruit an Investment Manager for their Private Client Discretionary Fund Management team.
The Company has a proven pedigree of being innovative in their outlook and has developed this on an International scale. They have built on their UK reputation whilst growing professional connections in areas such as Singapore and Malaysia and notably becoming one of the first Stockbrokers to become a full member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Traditional qualities of a friendly and efficient family business are combined with a strong commercial instinct to provide the values and innovative, professional approach required by clients. They advise an increasing number of private clients, SIPPs, charities and trusts on a highly personal basis.
This opportunity will offer you the chance to work within a traditional boutique environment whilst affording you the chance to develop your own offering in a highly stable environment. You will be responsible for a client base of both personal and non-personal portfolios for mass-affluent and high net worth clients. Continuous management of portfolios based on investment models and group investment strategy. Dissemination of investment strategy and discussing proposed changes to clients. Proactively contacting clients to enhance relationships and help deliver additional revenue for other parts of the business.
Prospective candidates should be able to show experience of being either an Investment Manager or Portfolio Manager within a professional organisation, large or small. Your track record should show that you have developed within your current role and shown loyalty to your employers.Individuals will ideally hold the SII (1&2) or Securities Diploma, the IMC would be an advantage but not essential. You should be able to think on your feet and work well under pressure, show excellent communication skills and work well in a team environment.
