Job Description

This leading Private Client Investment Management Company founded in the late 1980’s, now employs nearly 100 people from 3 offices throughout the South of England and currently manage some £1 billion on behalf of their clients.

They specialise in Discretionary Portfolio Management for private individuals, family trusts and smaller corporate clients and depending on the client’s exact requirements, use an appropriate mix of UK and overseas equities; fixed interest securities; property funds; alternative investments (eg hedge funds) and cash.

Their success is largely based on the calibre of the people they employ; a genuinely personal service and disciplined investment processes all backed up by an efficient and accurate administration system.

Having chosen to work in the environment of a smaller company, where each client is known as an individual, their Investment Managers are able to offer a standard of investment expertise often only available to larger institutional investors.

Due to continued growth there are now looking to recruit two Business Development Mangers.

Ideal candidates will preferably have a Private Client Discretionary Fund Management background (but this could be other investment sales as long as you possess a strong sales background).

Initially, you will be selling to IFAs, solicitors, accountants, and through them to HNW clients as well as to trust fund operators.  A client bank is not essential but genuine contacts in the IFA / solicitor / Accountancy channel would speed up the progression towards OTE.

Candidates should be based within a commutable distance of London.
