Job Description

This is a newly created job working within a small and dynamic head office team, based in Abingdon, it reports directly to the Group Finance Director. The role will develop the treasury function in response to and support of the continued expansion in the UK and internationally. This is excellent opportunity to develop a role in a fast growing international business

RPS is an international consultancy providing advice upon the development of natural resources, land and property, the management of the environment and the health and safety of people. A FTSE 250 company they trade in the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and South East Asia and undertake projects in many other parts of the world.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing banking arrangements with particular emphasis on UK
Streamlining current systems to make cash reporting easier & more efficient
Monitoring daily cash balances and receipts
Monitoring and reporting upon working capital management across the group
Reporting daily treasury information and development of broader treasury reporting
Establishing cash flow forecasting procedures
Management of foreign exchange exposure for the group
Management and administration of intercompany loans
Working with the Group Finance Director on strategic funding requirements

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a corporate treasury.
Although not a prerequisite it is likely that they will be a qualified accountant and/or corporate treasurer.
The role would suit someone that has a hands on approach, is self motivated and effectual and is able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.
