Matthew Clark is a highly successful distributor of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks to UK pubs, hotels, restaurants and leisure venues, supplying many major high-street names.  Following creation of a joint venture in 2007, the business is co-owned by Constellation Europe, the world's largest winemaker by volume, and Punch Taverns, the UK's largest pub operator.  The vision of the business is to become the trusted partner to the UK on-trade.  The Finance department is currently undergoing a period of change to meet the strategic needs of the business, resulting in a significant investment in the function.
 
Subsequently an opportunity exists for a Customer Finance Manager.  The purpose of this role is to support and coach a team of three Financial Analysts in all aspects of commercial analysis; proactively assess the existing account base and plan the work of the team accordingly with the aim of continuously improving margins.  In addition you will be the commercial finance partner for the top 5 National Accounts.
 
The successful applicant will likely be a qualified accountant with 1 - 2 yrs PQE, and be able to demonstrate workload prioritisation, time management, coaching and leadership skills in a commercial environment.  Previous analyst experience would be advantageous is also required.  A full UK driving licence is required.
