Job Description
This role forms an integral part of the Market Risk Monitoring Team that reports and analyses
the market risk for the trading floor.
A high profile job this involves constant interaction with the front office and senior
management. The individual must be able to produce and analyse risk reports in a timely
fashion and with a high degree of accuracy. The individual must be able proposes
changes to the risk framework, to cope with new situations, and manage project work.
The individual must be very aware of the procedures in place, as the maintenance of the
process and procedures is a key part of the role. This includes the maintenance of the
Dealing Manual, the maintenance of the Dealer mandates and their review, as well as the
review of the process and procedure
· Proven experience within a Market Risk environment.
· A numerate education.
· Sound practical understanding of Market Risk methodologies, predominantly VaR
models and Stress Testing.
· Product knowledge covering Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange products.
· Strong communication skills.
