Job Description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly technical and commercially astute individual seeking a more diverse role within Private Equity.
Working for one of the world's leading private equity fund-of-funds provider, the successful candidate will find him/herself working across a range of highly interesting and unique projects. Responsibilities range from screening possibilities, carrying out due diligence and executing of transactions whilst providing marketing support and feedback to the business.
The role requires a self starter who has really done their research and can demonstrate a strong interest and understanding of the Private Equity world. Global in scope, and with offices from San Francisco and New York to London and Honk Kong, the right individual will gain exposure to over 250 major institutional clients who currently invest $20bn globally through the firm. Being one of the biggest brands in the industry and with extremely positive recent press-coverage it is certainly a fantastic place to be right now.
Based out of prestigious West End offices and with a highly collegiate working environment, this role will suit somebody looking to get away from the volatile lifestyle associated with M&A investment banking. The suitable candidate will demonstrate outstanding financial modeling skills and superb interpersonal skills. Due to the high demand for this unique position, selection criteria are extremely demanding. Applicants will be highly numerate with outstanding communication skills and must possess the following:
Outstanding acadmics with at least two years transaction experience, ideally having trained with a leading investment bank or top tier boutique. Most importantly, the individual must demonstrate a complete understanding of the commercial elements of Private Equity from deal drivers to understanding the fundamentals involved in investment planning, strategy and execution. Candidates will have a strong understanding of financial modeling. Above all, this position is for someone with determination, tenactity and plenty of enthusiasm.
