Payroll Administrator
Hertford, Hertfordshire
c£17,000 DOE Plus 22 Days’ Holiday, Private Healthcare
As a leading contracting solutions provider, our client offers several solutions to individuals who work via a contract within all forms of industry, from information technology to doctors and teachers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join their team.
This role would suit a payroll professional with a good level of IT literacy looking to grow and develop with an exciting company that is committed to success.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring payroll is running efficiently, whilst providing support to a busy finance department. You will also be required to fulfil daily administration tasks in relation to the payroll team.
You will be tasked with:
- Preparing payroll from start to finish, including processing for special arrangements
- Investigating pay queries
- Preparing weekly and monthly management reports
- Payroll reconciliation
- Inputting data relating to anything that impacts payroll
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Experience of using payroll systems
- Excellent PC skills, including proficiency using Excel
Additionally, as a Payroll Administrator, you must be highly organised with good attention to detail. The ability to manage a variety of tasks is also key.
Our client has a preference for applicants with previous experience of independently running payroll. Experience of using Earnie payroll software would also be beneficial.
