Employee Benefits Sales Manager, London + frequent travel around the UK Up to £55k + Bonus + Benefits + Car
One of UK's leading Life and Pensions companies has a unique opportunity within their London-based software company, which designs and develops "cutting edge" software solutions to enhance the communication and administration of Employee Benefit products.
They are looking for a Sales Manager to generate good quality and profitable relationships with IFAs, Employee Benefit Consultants and HR Software houses (new and existing).
Key relationships will be at the highest level with the biggest distributors in the UK corporate market. The individual will report to the Head of Sales & Client Services, but will also work closely with the in-house implementation team and will be responsible for presenting the Company in its most positive light in the pursuit of new client acquisition. This role will therefore necessitate very frequent travel around the UK.
Responsibilities:
- To identify and secure distribution partnerships for the Company.
- To nurture and develop existing distribution outlets.
- To support distribution partners in the pursuit and closure of corporate client business.
- To continually develop the sales and technical capability of distribution partners to assist in the sale of the Company products.
To be successful the candidate must have:
- Experience in flexible benefits technology arena in essential!
- Proven track record in successful corporate sales in the Financial Services sector, which brings good prior knowledge of the IFA and distributor channels in the UK.
- Superb presentation and communication skills, with experience of presenting to executive or senior level management.
- Track record of building strong and strategic business relationships.
- Proven communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate, and the ability to project a credible image.
- High level of self-motivation and target/goal orientation.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of communications strategies for Employee Benefit programs
- Worksite marketing knowledge or experience
- E-Commerce or web-related IT systems experience.
