Job Description
Our client, one of UK's leading providers of pensions, protection, investments and wealth management services are keen to recruit an Employee Benefits Consultant to assist in the development of new group risk business within the South-East and Home Counties.
Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of employee benefit solutions. They are renowned for the range of products and services they offer including the provision of the benefits and support services that employers and Trustees require and comprehensive cover and claims servicing.
Main responsibilities will include:
· Developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing business for all group risk products.
· Generating and developing new product initiatives and opportunities.
· Solely responsible for account management and delivery of first class client service.
· Responsible for the management reporting of development of a portfolio within your geographical area.
· Increasing quotation activity by pro-active business development.
· Maintaining business levels/client retention.
The client seeks a candidate with a thorough understanding of group risk/investments and/or group pensions products and proven experience gained within a similar sales role from either a life company, IFA or Broker Consultant environment. FPC (or equivalent) is preferred, not essential. Applicants must be educated to A' Level calibre or equivalent.
The client will also consider candidates from a General Insurance background if they have experience of selling direct to intermediaries.
The successful candidate will possess first class customer facing skills, excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels. They will be articulate, numerate and well presented with the ability to work well as part of a team and individually.
