Job Description
This global insurance company, which operates a closed defined benefit and defined contribution pension scheme has an opening for a Pensions and Benefits Manager. The main duties with involve account managing the outsourced pensions and benefits service providers / advisers, to communicate benefits to members, to provide technical support and advice to senior company management and the Trustees and to act as Secretary to the Trustees. The successful Pensions & Benefits Manager will need to have the ability to digest complex operational, regulatory and statutory issues and recommend effective solutions as well as having a thorough knowledge of regulatory / statutory pension requirements. Ideally they are looking for a Pensions Manager with minimum 5 years in a pensions / benefits environment at a senior level with exposure to both DB and DC pension schemes and comfortable with dealing with senior management. Past experience where you have shown the ability to lead, motivate and manage staff and to establish and develop productive external relationships would be desirable. If you have self confidence, good communication skills, initiative, team player and strong analytical skills then this would be the ideal role for you.
