Job Description

We currently seek a senior business consultant / business analyst with strong experience in finance working for a large corporate, financial institution / bank, software vendor or consulting practice with extensive experience of derivatives especially FX/Interest Rate/Commodities underlying products in either the capital markets, treasury, coporate control, banking or software vendor environments with proven experience in delivering presentations and proven documentation skills. You will have some experience of dealing with advisory bodies and firms shaping derivative Practices. I would be advantageous ti have experience of global derivative and hedge accounting support concepts. We are looking for people with a proven track record of project work and a through understanding of treasury functions within either corporate treasury or capital market functions within a financial institution / bank. The right candidate will have a sound quantitative background back by relevant education e.g. Maths, Physics, engineering or finance. Experience with Commodity and financial IP, FX, Equity and Credit derivatives. Knowledge of accounting treatment of financial instruments across corporate and financial markets e.g. IAS 39 / IFRS 7 discolures FAS 157 / 159.
