Job Description
A Securities/Derivatives Officer is required to provide support to dealers of a prestigious international investment bank whilst also undertaking administrative processes to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
Key accountabilities will focus on reporting to the FSA for trade matching, statistical information and regulatory reporting. You will ensure calculation of trades including interest, commission, stamp duty and any relevant local market charges that may be applied. You will be instructing custodians in the delivery/receipt of securities, and funding relevant accounts and positioning of funds to ensure the bank makes best use of assets.
Good, solid, general banking experience is required for this role, and you will have had good exposure to, and knowledge of, derivatives, securities and settlements. This is an ideal role for candidates with good operations experience from within smaller banking environments who wish to further themselves and their career at a prestigious international bank.
