Job Description
A professional, experienced applicant is required for convertible bonds middle office within one of the world's foremost investment banks. The role is based in London.
The candidate will be responsible , with the other members of the team , in closing out or escalating any issues that the convertible bonds desk raises. This will include all forms of trader and client issues including contract matching, agent matching, settlement queries.
As a successful applicant, you will be providing full middle office support to the London convertible bond trading and sales desks. You will be: handling trading, sales and client queries; processing confirmation rejections; processing new issues; alongside various daily reconciliations and controls.
The ideal applicant will have experience in either credit derivatives or convertible bonds.
The role requires meticulous attention to detail and an acute awareness of the time critical & complex nature a trading environment. A professional attitude will be required, as there is a significant amount of client face-off surrounding confirmation queries.
