Job Description
A fixed income exotics middle office analyst is required for an investment bank that holds a prominent position as one of the world's leading fixed income franchises.
The fixed income exotics middle office sits between front office and the various other support teams such as product control, legal, documentation, compliance and risk management. The team acts as a main point of contact for the many issues that affect the bank in respect to exotics.
Your responsibilities will be to review trade tickets and supporting documentation to ensure all fields are correct/consistent (including broker confirms). You will book the trades into the appropriate risk system ensuring the correct booking. You will advise settlements regarding payment/funding requirements. You will investigate and resolve back office issues, ensuring controls and reconciliations are completed on a daily basis.
In order to succeed at the role, banking experience within a derivative middle office environment is required. You will demonstrate a keen interest in financial markets, with the ability to manipulate financial information for analysis. You will need good, relevant product knowledge.
