Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for managing up to 9 direct reports including:- Head of Customer Operations, IT Manager, Project Manager, Premises Manager, Finance Manager, Commissions Manager, HR Advisor, Sales Quality Manager and Shared Services such as (Legal, Compliance and Claims).
• Responsibility for representing the Protection Business in UK wide committees e.g. Financial Crime Committee, Operational Risk Committee etc as well as being a "relationship manager" between the Croydon and Brighton offices.
• Responsible for systems and operations for the UK Protection business; c.225 employees.
• Managing the preparation and analysis of Profit and Loss and Budget Forecast process.
• Production of Management Information for both UK and Region.<
ESSENTIAL CORE COMPETENCIES:
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good inter-personal skills, ability to liaise with people at all levels.
• Experience in managing middle and back office functions in small/medium size Life Company.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Highly technical / methodical.
• Positive 'can do' attitude / good attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency to achieve results.
• Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and achieve deliverables.
• Ability to influence others.
• Good global mindset.
EDUCATION:
