Job Description

Robinson Way Collections is the Debt Collection division of London Scottish Bank. We currently collect debt on behalf of 200 clients ranging from High Street Banks, Utility Companies, Mobile Phone Companies, Home Shopping Retailers and many more...... we're always on the lookout for highly motivated people who can add to our already successful and friendly teams.

Due to the continued growth within Robinson Way Collections we require a number of Team Leaders to join the existing management team. The primary function of the role is to maximise team collection performance and client/bought debt collection performance activity through effective operational management and continuous review of performance.

The key responsibilities of the position will include:-

  • Motivating and developing the team through coaching, feedback and personal development in order to enhance performance delivery, meet contractual obligations and maximise staff retention.
  • Regularly reviewing the activities of the team in order to ensure the most effective and cost efficient approach is used to improve client performance.
  • Establishing a framework to proactively review working practise to identify improvements in productivity, quality, service levels, client and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing an efficient and flexible response to operational issues in order to maintain levels of service delivery, client and customer satisfaction.
  • Giving feedback on performance results to the Performance Manager and provide in-depth feedback on performance statistics and attending client meetings as and when required.

To be considered for this opportunity you should have:-

  • Significant management experience within a Call Centre Environment
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • An enthusiastic, self motivated, proactive and positive attitude
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Experience of recruitment and disciplinary procedures and practices


Robinson Way Collections operates between 8.00am-8.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 7.30pm on Fridays and 9.00am-2.00pm on Saturdays

The current shift pattern rotates on a weekly basis as shown below:-


Early: 8.00am to 2.00pm plus Saturday 9.00am to 2.00pm
Late: 2.00pm to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday & 1.30pm to 7.30pm on Friday
Normal: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Late: 2.00pm to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday & 1.30pm to 7.30pm on Friday

The basic salary of the role ranges from £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience. In addition you will participate in the management bonus scheme in which your earning could achieve £30,000 per annum.
