£22,000 - £24,000 Plus Monthly Bonuses (up to £6,000 per annum)

Our client is a mixed media business specialising in two core markets: healthcare and wealth management. In addition to producing a range of magazines and websites for these sectors, they also manage events for primary care nurses and practice managers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Credit Controller to join their team.

This role would suit a credit control professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that the debts of the Company are received within the payment terms specified. Your main aim will be to keep debtor days at a level within the budgeted targets and to maintain good relationships with clients.

Your duties will include:

- ensuring invoices have been received by debtors and that they are aware of payment terms
- liaising with clients to assist with authorisation of invoices
- chasing overdue debts
- recording cash received on a daily basis
- preparing monthly updates of problems for circulation to senior management

To be considered for this position, you must have proven experience in a similar credit control role. You will also need to demonstrate strong people skills, including the ability to from professional relationships with clients.

The ideal Credit Controller will also be able to prioritise and manage their own workload in order to meet collection targets.

Experience of chasing debts from overseas clients would be an advantage as would fluency in an additional European language.
