Credit Controller – Sage Line 50

As one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of denim products, our client works with all major textile garment producing countries. An opportunity has now arisen for a Credit Controller to join their team.

For this role our client is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller with strong communication skills and an efficient way of working.

In this role you will be responsible for chasing payments from customers via telephone, post or email. You should be able to plan ahead as part of the position will include receiving forecasts for future orders, contacting customers when goods are ready and authorising the dispatch of good, depending on their credit record.

Your duties will include:

- updating payments received from customers on Sage Line 50
- setting up new accounts for new customers, and carrying out regular credit checks on existing accounts
- negotiating payment plans for customers
- taking action against late payers
- generating various reports for the management team

To be considered for this position, you must have experience in a similar credit control role and proficiency using Sage Line 50. You will also need to demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to meet targets.

Additionally, as the Credit Controller you will need to display an excellent telephone manner, and have the ability to work as part of a team and a good level of IT literacy.

Whilst not essential, experience in the fashion, clothing or wholesale industry would be beneficial to your application.
