Credit Controller
Crawley, West Sussex
£18,000 - £24,000
Our client is a leading provider of support services to the airline industry. With over 20 years' experience, they offer a wide range of services including exterior washing, de-icing, carpet manufacture and installation, and avionics repair. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has now arisen for a Credit Controller to join their team, working within a rapidly expanding subsidiary company engaged in the supply of aircraft parts.
This role would suit an enthusiastic and talented credit control professional with a good level of numeracy, looking to develop their career with a growing industry leader.
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for maximising cash collection from customers, minimising the company's risk of bad debt, and building relationships with customers.
Your duties will include:
- administrative setup of new customer accounts
- credit checking both new and existing customers
- raising and dispatching sales invoices
- maintaining accurate ledger records
- operating the credit hold system
To be considered for this position, you must have previous credit control experience, good basic maths skills and the ability to understand the detailed commercial transactions underpinning invoices being collected.
Additionally, as the Credit Controller you will need to demonstrate a confident and professional telephone manner, a highly organised approach and the ability to build relationships with finance and non-finance staff.
Whilst not essential, international credit control experience would be beneficial to your application, as would Russian or other language skills.
