Credit Controller
Lincoln, Lincolnshire
£14,000 - £16,000
Our client, a large manufacturing company established in 1974, are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Credit Controller to join their team.
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for ensuring all sales ledger accounts are current and within credit limits. This position will involve assisting with customer sales account administration and looking after key accounts within the organisation, therefore your self motivated approach and ability to work unsupervised is essential.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- using the Pegasus Opera sales ledger and internal databases to monitor commercial accounts
- liaising with customers regarding their accounts and chasing for payment
- preparing banking sheets and banking money daily
- issuing regular statements and payment requests to trade customers to ensure prompt payment to terms
- setting up new customer accounts and credit limits
To succeed as the Credit Controller you must have previous credit control experience, the ability to build effective working relationships with customers, and excellent problem solving skills. In addition to your enthusiastic approach and your ability to work in a team, you will also need to be a competent user of Excel and Word. Any experience of computerised systems would be beneficial, but is not essential as training will be provided.
