Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Debt Capital Markets, Africa you will be working with relationship managers and other units to identify and screen transaction opportunities. Duties will include: Working with internal / external legal counsel to draft and negotiate offer documents, mandate letters and term sheets. Working with other transaction parties including reporting accountants, rating agencies, credit enhancers, broker/dealers to support execution of deals. Seek opportunities to cross-sell SCB products and services in conjunction with internal units (e.g. risk management advisory functions, corporate finance)
SELECTION CRITERIA: Credit and documentation experience. Strong familiarity with cash flow modelling. Some capital markets knowledge. Presentation and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English
