Job Description

The Strategic Finance Group are a small team of broadly experienced individuals with backgrounds in various sectors and experience in various organisations. They are focussed at supporting corporations in thinking about, planning for, and designing their strategic futures. The remit is quite wide, however predominantly they find solutions to 'strategic issues' facing their UK Corporate clients, excluding the execution of private-equity sponsored solutions.
'Strategic issues' typically encompass looking to support clients grow (M&A), defend themselves from take-overs, optimise their capital structure, assess the viability of a take-private strategy or address other corporate concerns.
As a Strategic Finance Director you will be responsible for the following:

- Research
- Generating ideas
- Proactive dialogue
- Presenting and delivering appropriate banking solutions to company directors/CEOs
- Ensuring a deal suggested is viable for the bank and for client

This role offers up to £75,000 basic + 25% guaranteed benefits + annual bonus + healthcare

This Director role requires someone ideally from a Corporate Finance background that can advise the Corporate clients on the various solutions available and also someone who has had experience within Banking. This is due to the essential requirement of being able to understand whether a Corporate deal is viable to the bank and will be viable to the company. Corporate Bankers also would be suitable for this role, dependant on the type of transactions previously worked on.
