Job Description

We currently seek a Financial Services professional to move to being a software trainer for a leading banking technology house / consultancy (we will of course consider people already in a training role that already have the domain experience). My client requires 2 years experience within the financial services industry working in a large corporate or bank or Software house / conultancy in this area who have a good understanding of the workings of a corporate or bank treasury or failing that a solid understanding of financial instruments / markets and a keeness to develop them e.g. FX/MM, Derivatives, Swaps etc. On the more technical side a solid understanding of presentation / documentation software e.g. MS Office / Adobe as well as documentation itself e.g. file management, versioning, reviewing skills. An understanding of software would be desirable e.g. VBA, Unix, Perl, XML/XSL, SQL, Oracle. The role itself will require a customer focussed individual with sound problem solving skills. The right candidate will have good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness who would be a good team player while being able to react in a dynamic environment. This role would involve travel so flexibility around this would also be required however a lot of the training would be done from their offices. Typical backgrounds: Training Consultant, Trainer, Treasury Analyst, Treasury Manager, Treasury Assistant, Treasury Accountant, Accountant, or systems / providers such as: Sungard, SAP, Oracle, Lawson, Infor, IT2, WSS, Trema, SimCorp
