Top City Brokerage specialising in providing IPO, Fund Raising and M&A Services to Small & Mid Cap companies requires an Associate to join their highly successful team.

The Client:

One of the City's top financiers for the Small & Mid Cap sector, representing over 80 companies on AIM and over 40 listed companies on the London Stock Exchange. The firm

The Role: As an Associate, you will be responsible for originating, managing/executing and completing Corporate Finance transactions across a broad range of industries. Your role will involve working closely with Investors, Lawyers, Accountants, PR Firms and the Board of your client company. You will typically be directly involved in between 8-10 transactions per year that will invariably have some cross over.

The Candidate:

Given the market, the client is interested in applicants who have worked in any of the following areas:

• Brokerage: 1-2 years experience
• Accounting: ACA qualified (first time passes) with at least 1 year in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance or Financial Modelling.
• Lawyer: Minimum LPC qualified with at least 2 years experience in Corporate Finance. Financial acumen is expected.

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong Academic background - 2:1 degree or better.
• Demonstrable interest in the financial markets and Corporate Finance.
• Excellent organisational skills
