Job Description
Are you a qualified accountant with strong financial modelling skills, and time spent in the local government and/or NHS space?
A big brand name in the public sector consulting space are significantly expanding their London office and have an opportunity for a young, aspiring consultant to join their team
You will be an important part of a whole range of projects, with a main focus on local government and PCT transformation. That could mean anything from advising local government on the consequences for different social housing plans, to giving advice on plans for inner city redevelopment - all current headline grabbing issues!
You will…
…have project support experience
…have worked on transformation or cost / performance improvement work
…provide advice on the financial aspects of the PFI/PPP procurement process.
…construct financial models, and advise on their use/significance/impact.
…support the delivery of consulting engagements to central, regional and local government clients, and PCTs
…have experience of finance systems, benefits realisation, business case development, invest appraisal / option analysis, financial management and business planning.
Currently you could either be in a consulting firm, or the public sector itself. You are happy to travel regularly from your London base to the client site, and are excited to join this dynamic and growing team that wants to stress that it will look after its people.
