FSA Regulatory Consultant / FSA Compliance Consultant

£45,000 - £50,000 DOE (Basic) OTE £80,000 - £85,000 Plus Subsidised Private Healthcare
Our client is a regulatory consultancy based in the City of London. They are seeking to expand their service portfolio by developing a specialist FSA compliance team, and as such an opportunity has now arisen for an FSA Regulatory Consultant / FSA Compliance Consultant.
Joining our client at ground level, in this role you will take responsibility for developing business by selling our client’s FSA regulatory consultancy services. For the right person who can demonstrate an exceptional performance, this position offers both share options and scope to move into a management position
For this role our client is looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter with strong business development skills and expert knowledge of FSA regulations, therefore this role would suit someone who has worked within the financial services industry as an internal regulatory advisor, or somebody who has worked for the FSA.
As an FSA Regulatory Consultant / FSA Compliance Consultant you will be expected to follow up leads with prospective clients, source your own leads and follow through with excellent client management skills when advising or assisting with regulatory compliance. Some travel to client sites will be required.
To succeed in this position you must have expert knowledge and practical hands-on experience of the Financial Services Act and Financial Services Authority regulations, coupled with a broad understanding of business development. You must also be an excellent and articulate communicator.
