Congratulations! You've passed your CIPFA exams. Now what? Rather than climb another small step up the public ladder why not change into a new career where advancement and reward comes quickly to those that excel.
We have opportunities to join a number of firms who specialise in consulting to the public sector. They are interested in recruiting a newly qualified CPFAs, to join their teams of consulting professionals who provide a variety of services to central and local government, the NHS and education sectors. Most of the firms are London based but your clients may be UK-wide, so you'll have to spend some nights away from home, working at their offices. And you shouldn't expect to down tools when the Town Hall clock strikes five. But you will gain from working on a wide variety of business and management issues at a wide variety of public sector organisations and have the opportunity to progress quickly in terms of salary and responsibility.
To be considered, you need to be a graduate with a clean professional exam record so far.
