FSA Compliance Consultant - FSA Regulatory Compliance
London EC4
£35,000 - £50,000 DOE Plus Subsidised Private Healthcare and Performance-Related Bonus
Our client is a regulatory consultancy based in the City of London. They are seeking to expand their specialist FSA compliance team, and as such an opportunity has now arisen for an FSA Compliance Consultant to join them.
As an FSA Compliance Consultant you will assist the company's clients with all stages of the authorisation and regulation process for all FSA regulated sectors.
Working in an advisory capacity, this role will involve providing practical solutions to new and ongoing FSA regulations. You will also be required to project manage FSA applications for clients and advise on TCF and T&C.
Depending on the candidate, this role will progress into a more desk based or client facing position, depending on how the work develops.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Knowledge of the FSA Handbook, FSMA 2000, Regulated Activities Order, MiFID
- A degree (or equivalent) or relevant qualification
- The ability to deliver high quality practical solutions to regulatory challenges for their existing and prospective client base
- Strong knowledge of FSA compliance within one of the following areas: financial advisory, payment services directive, fund or asset management, corporate finance or venture capital
As an FSA Compliance Consultant you should also have excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel around London and further afield to see clients. Whilst not essential, previous experience within a consultancy role would be beneficial.
