Leading International Bank are currently seeking a Compliance Officer / Risk Control Officer for London.  

Role: 

Monitor breaches in agreed risk levels ensuring risk owners are maintaining the Banks risk exposure within agreed risk parameters  

Responsibilities: 

·         Monitor the activities of the Dealing room to ensuring transactions undertaken do not breach set risk levels and policies; ensuring compliance with any restrictions.

·         Identify any changes in transaction types undertaken by the Dealing Room

·         Report and record excesses or other exceptions in agreed risk limits

·         Monitor and control activity across dormant and retain mail accounts to ensure the integrity of client security.

·         Provide general support to the MLRO in respect of daily monitoring activities and any other administrative duties.

·         Monitor and investigate mail returned to the bank to ensure that contact with customers has not been lost. 

Requirements: 

·         Experience in a control/operational background within a Financial Institution – compliance related.

·         Ideally some experience of AML (Anti Money Laundering) /CDD (Customer Due Diligence) procedures.

·         Ability to learn new topics quickly.

·         A methodical, accurate and analytical approach to monitoring duties

·         Competent PC skills in Word, Excel and outlook. 

Salary: 

The basic Salary on offer £20,000 - £25,000 negotiable Plus Bonus and Benefits.
