Commodities documentation Clerk
£25.00 - £30.00

This renowned international investment bank with culture centered on transparency, respect and providing a first class client service is looking for an enthusiastic Commodities documentation Clerk with experience in base metals and energy.
The Commodities Group at this bank are market leaders in providing innovative risk management solutions for a wide variety of clients. The group trades a diverse range of Exchange and OTC products. These include Base and Precious Metals, Energy products ranging from Natural Gas and Oil to Weather Derivatives and Carbon Emissions. They are also active in the physical markets and deliver Precious Metals, Power and Natural Gas on a daily basis
This key role will see you:
Generation of Transaction Confirmations for the Energy & Base Metals Confirmations Group.
•Generation of deal confirmations for OTC Energy Derivative Products T+1 (Swaps, Options, Futures, Forwards, Swaptions, Novations, Unwinds and Drafts)
•Liaison with Front/Middle office regarding trade bookings and resolving discrepancies.
•Reconciling FX hedges for Energy Business
•Maintenance of Emissions Registry and physical position
•Resolving trade economic discrepancies with the clients
•Testing of new platforms for electronic trade matching
•Maintenance of Static client data and new client adoption
•Daily communication with Operations team in Bangalore
•Cancellation / Unwinds
•Daily communication with Bangalore office to ensure tasks and deadlines are met and there are no exceptions.
You will have strong experience in Commodities Documentation Generation as well as a good knowledge of Commodity products. You will also need to have excellent Excel skills including VB.
