Job Description
A metals settlements and confirms professional is required for one of the world's largest and most respected international investment banks. The role is based in the London Docklands.
The burgeoning metals trading group trades metals, coal, freight, with futures and OTC derivatives and physical on the way. The metals operations group is responsible for the operational support of these new OTC products.
Main duties and responsibilities will be to draft the confirmation templates for swaps, options, physical forwards, spread options for the new products. On a daily basis, you will generate the confirmations for the new trades executed for these products. You will review incoming confirmation from the counterpart to ensure that the economic trade details match what the bank has in their in-house systems.
The role requires detailed working knowledge of derivative products, with knowledge of base and precious metal trading being preferred. This knowledge will be backed up with excellent relevant experience.
