Job Description
Our client is a global financial services business operating in all areas of the banking sector.
The Quality Assurance team are the highest profile team within the Internal Audit function. Operating across the whole of the bank, they are responsible for ensuring that Internal Audit is maintaining best practice. The audit function provides independent assurance to the Group CEO, Board Audit Committee and internal stakeholders, as well as certain external stakeholders (typically external auditors and regulators).
Within audit Quality Assurance Partners are responsible for implementing a monitoring program to ensure audit resources are appropriately and consistently focused on assessing the highest risks within the group and also to ensure audit policies and procedures remain effective and are adhered to. This role is for a Senior Audit professional with a strong knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment Banking. The role will have very high-level exposure, so outstanding communication and negotiation skills are a pre-requisite as is possessing the gravitas and credibility to liaise at Board level.
The successful candidate will likely progress to a Head of Audit role within the bank within two years.
Travel will be around 15%.
