Job Description
I have a unique requirement for an individual who has built a solid track record across convergent sectors covering both traditional Insurance/Re-Insurance and Capital Market environments for a small group responsible for dealing with cutting-edge innovations in the sector.
The team have built a reputation in being able to deliver risk management, hedging and transaction advisory expertise for emerging trends in the hybrid insurance-capital markets space dealing with both traditional balance sheet issues to more complex risk management and derivative transaction challenges.
Suitable candidates will thus blend solid analytical, quantitative and financial markets expertise with an understanding of traditional insurance/re-insurance markets and it's development into more esoteric areas.
The role will demand an individual capable of working in a globally integrated team but still develop the autonomous work ethic to spot opportunities that lead to new revenue sources in the long-run.
Typical profiles may include former Pensions & Insurance Group structurers/transaction specialists within sell-side environments through to re-insurance/actuarial specialists with a solid grounding in financial derivatives including the underlying financial mathematics behind it.
