Job Description
A leading Asset Manager based in Canary Wharf requires a Dividends Clerk on a temporary basis to reconcile back and nominal accounts and authorise credits in receipt of dividends within a specified time frame.
Roles / Responsibilities:
To reconcile bank and nominal accounts and authorise credits to client accounts within 3 working days of receipt of dividends.
To communicate with company registrars/agents to ensure outstanding payments are correctly received in a timely manner.
To ensure that tax deductions made from underlying clients agree with client static data, where necessary.
Escalate appropriately when risk is uncovered, in accordance with department's escalation policy.
To process queries raised by company correspondents in a timely manner.
To obtain a working knowledge of all areas associated with the Dividends department.
Skills / Experience:
Previous dividends experience is essential
