Job Description
Our client is a leading financial services organisation specialising in fund and investment management. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Audit Manager into their independent audit function, which reviews business and internal control processes using a risk-based approach. This includes not only review of specific business areas, but also encompasses participation in new initiatives and product and systems developments. This should result in the identification of potential improvements to the processes, which will result in efficiencies and/or a reduced risk of loss and thereby assist the business units to achieve their objectives.
You will take full responsibility for a portfolio of assignments related to the audit plan and work within cross functional teams globally on projects, such as new initiatives, systems developments and product launches, execute and document audit testing using best practice, formulate conclusions based on testing outcome, identify areas in need of improvement and develop an action plan, draft audit reports and discussions with auditees prior to review by Internal Audit senior management, document progress on all activities and follow up on outstanding issues, ensuring all agreed improvements have been actioned.
