Job Description
One of the world's leading financial institutions has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Internal Audit Manager, with a knowledge of the Asset Management sector, to undertake a challenging and high-profile role Duties will include:.
· Audit assignment planning.
· Risk and control identification.
· Performing, reviewing and directing audit testing.
· Providing guidance to Audit Seniors during an audit assignment
· Reviewing and completing documentation of planning, testing and findings in audit toolkit.
· Fully supportive participation in enterprise-wide audits and audits of Board Governance Standards.
· Discussing audit findings and issues with auditees.
· Managing audit teams on a day to day basis, working to ensure that audits progress as planned, as regards scope, budget and timetable.
· Responsibility for Audit report writing and review.
· Managing audit assignment budgets (or equivalent monitoring tool).
· Maintaining and developing awareness of risk issues and changes across relevant business units.
· Providing complete, accurate and timely information to the QA Management Information Manager for reporting.
· Identify risks and controls and to develop an appropriate audit approach.
