Job Description
A large UK Asset Manager is looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join as a Financial Systems Analyst, being responsible for helping to optimise the use of technology in the accounting process.
You will work primarily within the Group Reporting & Analysis team to continually improve the use of automated solutions by considering existing processes and participating in the development of new processes. You will identify enhancements and new solutions, producing detailed systems specifications and implementation timetables and, gaining the buy-in of the team, drive through the solution in line with the team philosophy of "right first time on time".
You must have previous experience with financial consolidation / financial reporting, and a strong understanding of the tools and programmes used. You must be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have strong Microsoft Office skills including ideally VBA for Access and Excel.
